Injury Collision on KY 359 in Union County

(Henderson, Ky.) - Mr. Garland Gatewood was traveling Southbound in a Green Chevy on KY 359 when he made a U-turn at KY 359 and KY 1180. Mr. Garland didn't stop before reentering the roadway and traveled into the path of Mr. Matthew Larue, who was operating a Black full-sized Dodge truck, was traveling Southbound on KY 359. Both vehicles collided head on in which the impact caused Gatewood to be ejected out the driver's side door window. Both parties transported to Methodist Hospital in Henderson. Mr. Gatewood was life-flighted to St. Mary's hospital in Evansville and is listed in critical but stable condition. All other parties had minor injuries and were released.
