Weather Related Non-Injury Collision in the Post 16 Area

(Henderson, KY) - KSP worked three Tractor Trailer accidents that were weather related due to high winds.
Dhukar Tsering of Brooklyn, NY, was traveling Southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway passing exit 76 at approximately 2:35 pm when high winds blew his vehicle over into the median. Baskett Fire Department, and Robards Fire Department assisted on clearing the scene.
Lonnie Littrell of Henderson, exited the Pennyrile Parkway onto KY425 at approximately 4:13 pm when high winds forced his vehicle to overturn blocking the Southbound ramp. Littrell was not injured. The ramp was blocked for approximately an hour. Robards Volunteer Fire Dept assisted on clearing the scene.
John W. Renfrow of Beaver Dam, KY, was traveling Westbound on the Audubon Parkway at approximately 2:50 pm when high winds caused his vehicle to overturn. Renfrow suffered a broken collar bone and was transported to Henderson Methodist Hospital. Baskett Fire Department, and Henderson County EMS assisted at the scene.
All operators were wearing seatbelts and all three trailers were empty.
