Update to the Burglary 3rd Degree Investigation & Arrest

(Henderson, KY) - Holly J. Harris was charged this date (01/16/09) after a warrant was issued and served for Theft of Controlled Substance over $300.00 in connection with the burglary. During the burglary, Ms. Harris filled a garbage bag with 77 different types of drugs containing various amounts of schedule II, III and IV drugs. This recent charge is punishable up to 10 years in prison if convicted.

(Henderson, KY) - On 01-15-2009 around 0340 hours, McLean County 911 received a call of a burglar alarm at Poole's Pharmacy in Livermore, KY. While State Police was en route to the pharmacy, owner Ron Poole was notified at his residence of the alarm. Mr. Poole was able to access his stores camera system via the internet. Mr. Poole called KSP stating he was watching the burglar steal bottles of drugs. Trooper Corey King and McLean County Sheriff Frank Cox both arrived and saw the drive-thru window open. Sheriff Cox observed the burglar through the front door run to the back storage room. Trooper King and Sheriff Cox were able to gain entry to the store and located Holly J. Harris hiding in the stores ceiling. Holly J. Harris age 25 of Livermore, KY was charged with Burglary 3rd Degree and she was lodged into the Ohio County Detention Center
The investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
