Criminal Arrest in Henderson County

(Henderson, KY) - Sidney E. Perry Jr., operating a 1989 Ford Mustang, was travelling on KY 351 approaching a traffic safety checkpoint set up by the Kentucky State Police. He stopped prior to reaching the checkpoint and fled the scene at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was chased and later found behind a residence on East Moore Street. All occupants of the vehicle were arrested with out incident and charged with the below charges. All subjects were lodged in the Henderson County Jail.

Sidney E. Perry Jr. age 28 of Henderson was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Fleeing or Evading Police, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Controlled Substance 1st/Methamphetamine, Prescription Controlled Substance Not in Proper Container, Driving DUI Suspended 1st, Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon.

Ashley S. Nelson age 25 of Henderson was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st.

Matthew E. Simpson age 25 of Henderson was charged with Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Tampering with Physical Evidence.
