Meth Lab Arrests in Monroe County

(Columbia, KY) - On Friday, December 18, 2009, Troopers Daniel Stephens and Logan Richardson responded to the residence of Timothy and Kimberly Davis at 665 Pebble Brook Bowman Rd in Tompkinsville, KY in reference to a welfare check of 3 children. The inquiry into the welfare of the children led to the discovery of an active Meth Lab in the upstairs of the residence. 4 persons were arrested at the scene.

  • Timothy C. Davis, age 40, of Tompkinsville - charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Cont. Sub. Endangerment of a child (3 counts) and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.
  • John E Botts, age 31, of Gamaliel - Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Cont. Sub. Of a child (3 counts), Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Teresa L Botts, age 38, of Mt. Hermon - Manufacturing Methamphetamine 1st, Cont. Sub. Of a child (3 counts), Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, Trafficking in a controlled substance 1st, Possession of Methamphetamine and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.
  • Kimberly Davis, age 31, of Tompkinsville - Cont. Sub. Endangerment of a child (3 counts) and Manufacturing Methamphetamine.

Teresa Botts and Kimberly Davis were lodged at the Allen County jail. Timothy Davis and John Botts were lodged at the Monroe County jail. There were 3 children at the residence and they were taken into protective custody by the Department of Protection and Permanency.

The case remains under investigation. Assisting at the scene were additional units from KSP Post 15, KSP Drug Enforcement Special Investigations West, HIDTA task force, DSS, Monroe County Fire Department, Monroe County EMS.
