One Injured in a Single Freightliner Collision on KY837

(Casey County) -- Trooper Mike Woodrum is investigating a collision that occurred 12/03/2009 at approximately 8:30 a.m., 13 miles Southeast of Liberty on KY837. The collision occurred when a 2001 Freightliner being operated by Roy Bray, age 37, of Somerset, was traveling North on KY837, dropped off the right shoulder of the roadway, overcorrected, left the South side of the roadway and overturned. Mr. Bray was belted at the time of the collision and was transported to the Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset where he was treated and released for his injuries. Trooper Woodrum was assisted at the scene by CVE Officer Derek Cundiff, Casey County EMS and the East Casey County Fire Department.
