One Injured in a Two Vehicle Collision on Ky 61

(Adair County, Ky.) -- Tpr. Tracy Haynes is investigating a collision that occurred Sunday evening at 6:20pm eight miles South of Columbia on KY 61.

Anthony B. Roach, age 38 of Louisville was operating a 1981 Peterbilt. Mr. Roach had just pulled on N KY 61 from Blue Ridge Road, the left rear wheel of the trailer was slightly over the centerline in the Southbound lane. Margaret S. Williams, age 70 of Albany was traveling South on KY 61 in a 2001 Oldsmobile, she struck the trailer wheel. Mr. Roach was wearing a seatbelt and not injured. Ms. Williams was also wearing a seatbelt, she was transported to Westlake Regional Hospital.

Tpr. Haynes was assisted at the scene by Adair County EMS and the Breeding Fire Department.
