Metcalfe County Collision

(Edmonton, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police is investigating a collision that occurred Sunday afternoon at 1:14pm; one mile West of Edmonton on KY 3234. Kevin Gentry, age 42 of Edmonton was operating a 1996 Dodge truck. He was traveling West on KY 3234 where he was stopped to make a right turn. Mr. Gentry's vehicle was struck from behind by a 2004 Nissan Altima being operated by Vickie Jones, age 55 of Glasgow. Mr. Gentry and Ms. Jones were both wearing a seatbelt; neither were injured. 16 yr old Patrick Ennis of Edmonton was riding in the bed of Mr. Gentry's truck; he refused treatment from Metcalfe County EMS. Tpr. Logan Richardson is investigating the collision, Tpr. Ricky Brooks assisted.
