Attempted Murder Investigation in Marion County

(Marion County, Ky.) -- Post 15 received information of a domestic related shooting that occurred in Marion County on Paul Shewmaker Road at 1152pm on 7/16/2009. Trooper Brian Coyt and the Marion County Sheriff's department responded to the scene and discovered that a firearm had been discharged in the direction of Richard Price, age 22 of Lebanon. Mr. Price was not struck, however the projectile went through his clothing and lodged inside the residence. Manuel Pittman age 50 of Finley was arrested and charged with attempted murder and wanton endangerment. The investigation is continuing by Trooper Brian Coyt.
