Injury Collision on KY 49 in Marion County

(Marion County, Ky.) -- A collision occurred on KY 49, 1 mile north of Lebanon at 01:44 a.m. Spencer Spalding, 36 years old, of Lebanon was operating a 2004 Chevrolet passenger car when he left the roadway, struck a utility pole, then struck a ditch and overturned. Mr. Spalding was not wearing a seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle. Mr. Spalding was transported to Springview Hospital and later flown to University of Louisville Hospital for treatment of his injuries. The collision is being investigated by Trooper John Boyd.
