KSP Post 15 Troopers Honored

Eleven active troopers and three retired troopers from Kentucky State Police Post 15 in Columbia received awards in Frankfort on May 20. Tpr. John Adams (front row left) and Tpr. David Long (second row, right) received the KSP Citation for Bravery. Tpr. Donnie Moses (front row, center) received the Trooper's Medal. The KSP Citation for Meritorious Service with V Device for Valor was presented to retired Sgt. Bobby Sullivan (front row, right) and (second row left to right) Det. Russell Decker, Sgt. Kevin Hunt, Det. George Atwood, Tpr. Johnathan Boyd, (back row, left to right) Tpr. David Smith, Tpr. Jeremy Johnson, Lt. Jeffrey Suratt, Tpr. James Richard and retired Det. Tony Wells. Tpr. Andy Olson (back row, right) was named Post 15 Trooper of the Year and KSP 2008 Trooper of the Year. Not shown: retired Sgt. Rob Winsett (Citation for Meritorious Service with V Device for Valor).
