Fatal Collision on KY3066 in Albany, KY

(Albany, Ky.) -- A collision occurred when a 2004 Dodge, being operated by Simon R. Moore, age 62, of Byrdstown, Tennessee, was traveling westbound on KY3066, left the roadway for unknown reasons, and struck a tree. Mr. Moore was not belted and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Clinton County Coroner at approximately 12:04. Autopsy results are pending and the investigation is continuing by Trooper David Long. Trooper Long was assisted at the scene by Clinton County Sheriff's Department, Clinton County EMS, the Albany Fire Department and the Clinton County Coroner.
