Attempted Abduction in Casey County

(Columbia, Ky.) - The Liberty Police Department has responded to two complaints of an attempted abduction.

On March 6th the Police Department responded to Beldon Ave where a ten year old female reported a white male operating a maroon Pontiac passenger car pulled up next to the girl and asked her to help him find his cell phone. The girl became suspicious and ran from the scene to safety. No Further description of the suspect or the vehicle could be given by the victim.

On March 10th at approximately 7:30 p.m. a man with gray hair operating a gray Ford Escort attempted to talk a ten year old female into his vehicle. This victim also ran from the scene to safety.
