May Monthly Activity From Post 14

(Ashland, Ky.) - During the month of May 2009, there were 44 motor vehicle collisions investigated by State Police working out of the Ashland Post in the four counties of Boyd, Greenup, Carter, and Lawrence.

During May of 2009 there was 2 fatalites in the Post 14, which occurred in Carter County (1) and Lawrence County (1) compared to 4 in May 2008, which occurred in Carter County (1) and Greenup County (3). Statewide fatalities stand at 312 compared to 299 for the same time period in 2008.
