Armed Robbery Occurs in Knott County

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On 5/14/2009 at approximately 12:05 am Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard received a call from Marie Breeding stating that she had been robbed at gunpoint at her residence on Pelfrey Lane in the Redfox Community of Knott County. Preliminary investigation indicates that a male subject wearing dark clothing and a dark colored mask made entry into her residence with a gun and demanded money. Perpetrator was approximately 5'10" tall and weighed approximately 250lbs. and also had a deep voice with a speech impediment. He took an unknown amount of cash and fled the scene on foot.
