Leslie County Murder Investigation

(Hazard, Ky.) -- A 21 year old Leslie County man was found dead inside a home in the Mozelle community of Leslie County shortly before 9:30 A.M. this morning. Troopers & Detectives from KSP Post 13 in Hazard along with the Leslie County Tran-star Ambulance Service responded to the scene and the victim was indentified as Chad B. Muncy, 21 years of age and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Leslie County Coroner's office. The body of the victim has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Frankfort where an autopsy will be performed. Detective Chris Collins, with the Kentucky State Police Post 13 in Hazard is in charge of the investigation.
