Home Robbery in Letcher County

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On 04/20/2009 at approximately 1150 pm Kentucky State Police Post 13 responded to a possible robbery on HWY 2036 in the Letcher community of Letcher County. Preliminary investigation indicates that 3 subjects entered a residence, 2 dressed in black clothing and masks, the other in camo clothing and a mask, subjects were armed with a rifle. The homeowner and a female that were home at the time were tied up inside the residence. Cash and prescription medication along with a cell phone was taken. No further descriptions of the persons involved are available. The case is under investigation by Det Randy Combs.
