Home Invasion Occurs in Perry County

(Hazard, Ky.) -- On 04/06/2009 at approximately 01:50 am Kentucky State Police received a call from Perry County 911 reference to a possible home invasion at Upper Second Creek Road in the Darfork community of Perry County.
The victim stated that a male subject entered her residence while she was asleep. The perpetrator then pulled her brother Randall Edwards from the bed to the floor and held him at gunpoint. The perpetrator then yelled at another individual involved in the invasion to bring prescription medications to the living room. The second perpetrator entered the living room with the medications and the female's purse. The two suspects then fled the scene with medications and an undisclosed amount of cash.
One of the male perpetrators was described as a white male approximately 5ft. 8 in. and 150 lbs. He was wearing blue jeans, red long sleeve sweater or jersey coat and a black ski mask. No arrests have been made at this time and police are asking anyone with information to call them at (606) 435-6069 or 1-800-222-5555.
