Man Arrested on Drug Charges in Breathitt County

(Hazard, Ky.) - On 02/28/09 an investigation led Kentucky State Police Post 13 Criminal Interdiction Team to execute a search warrant on the residence of Jamie Neace in the Vancleve Community of Breathitt County. During the investigation approximately two pounds of marijuana, assorted pills, drug paraphernalia, $8,220.00 in US currency, and six firearms were recovered. Mr. Neace was arrested and charged for Trafficking in a Controlled Substance 2nd and 3rd Degree, Trafficking in Marijuana 8oz. To 5lbs, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. He was later lodged in Three Forks Regional Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Tpr. J.C. Hollon.
