Domestic Dispute Results In Three Injured In Knott County

(Hazard, Ky.) - On 02/23/09 Kentucky State Police Post 13 Hazard received a 911 call of a domestic disturbance at Dry Creek in the Topmost Community of Knott County.
Preliminary investigation indicates that an altercation occurred which resulted in injuries to three family members.
Justin Collins, age 20, received a non-life threatening gunshot wound to the right leg, Tommy Collins, age unknown, received stab wounds to the abdominal area, and a juvenile was struck with a blunt object. The victims were transported to McDowell ARH and St. Joseph Martin Emergency Room for treatment. Tommy Collins was later transferred to University of Kentucky Medical Center. No arrests have been made at this time and the investigation is continuing by Det. Charles Bledsoe.
