Update on Missing Juveniles from Knott County

(Hazard, KY) - On 02/04/09 at approximately 01:30 am the two missing juveniles from Knott County, Bradley James Pennington and Kaita Nicole Addington were located by the Phoenix Police Department in Phoenix Arizona. Both individuals were found to be safe and arrangements are to be made between the police department and the parents for their return.

(Hazard, KY) - On 01/20/2009 Kentucky State Police received a call of a missing male juvenile from his residence in the Mallie Community of Knott County.
Parents of Bradley James Pennington, age 14, stated they noticed he was missing from his home and had apparently left through a bedroom window. Police were able to follow Bradley's footprints for a short distance and lost any signs of him.
A brief time later Kentucky State Police receive another call of missing juvenile, Kaita Nicole Addington, a 15-year-old female, from her residence in the Pinetop Community of Knott County. No information as to when or how she left her residence unnoticed.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the two are probably accompanying each other. Very limited information is available on the two individuals and no probable destination is known.
Bradley James Pennington is approximately 5' 8" tall and weighs 160 lbs. He also has brown eyes and long black hair. Kaita Nicole Addington is approximately 5'9" tall and weighs 140 lbs. She has blue eyes and shoulder length brown hair.
