Spencer County Stabbing Investigation

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Kentucky State Police is investigation a stabbing that occurred in Spencer County. On Monday, September 28, 2009 at 10:40 PM Donald Carey was stabbed at his residence on Gordon Drive in Spencer County. He was transported to the Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, Ky. He was later transferred to the University of Louisville Hospital and admitted. The victim Donald Carey and accused Donald G. Byrn had an argument at the victim's residence that led to Donald Carey being stabbed several times. The suspect Donald G. Byrn of Cox's Creek age 52 has arrest warrants for Assault 1st and Terrorists Threatening. Mr. Byrn remains at large and anyone with information about his whereabouts should call the Kentucky State Police at 502-227-2221. The investigation is continuing by the Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post .
