Fatal Collision on US 62 in Anderson County

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- Brenda G. Napier was traveling east bound on US-62 driving a Toyota Tercel. Julius Noel Jr. was traveling west bound on US-62 driving a Ford F150 pickup pulling a trailer. Ms. Napier's vehicle crossed the centerline and struck Mr. Noel's vehicle in the side and also struck the trailer Mr. Noel was pulling. Ms. Napier was protected by a shoulder belt only. Ms. Napier was not wearing her lap belt and was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Anderson County Coroner. The collision is under investigation by Kentucky State Police Frankfort Post.
