Drug Arrest in Franklin County

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- On Friday September 4, 2009, Kentucky State Police Marijuana Eradication team consisting of Post 12 Troopers with the assistance of Kentucky State Police Aircraft Section observed a plot of marijuana growing in the yard of 324 Royal Parkway Frankfort, Ky residence. While units were on their way to the residence, aircraft personel observed the above subject attempting to destroy evidence. Units arrived and while conducting their investigation found an indoor grow in a shed behind the residence. Robin Wayne Sims age 55 was arrested and charged with Cultivate Marijuana less than 5 plants 1st offense, Possession of marijuana 1st offense, Possession of drug paraphernalia 1st offense and tampering with physical evidence.
