Kentucky Targeted Traffic Enforcement Mobilization July 20 - July 31, 2009

(Post 12 Frankfort) -- Post 12 Frankfort total enforcement actions through patrol and safety checkpoints from July 20th - July 31st 2009. This data comes from the seven counties in the Post 12 area.

Troopers working the Post 12 area issued a total of 1159 citations, 410 citations for speeding, 190 seat belt citations, 4 child restraint citations, 22 suspended license citations, 97 no insurance citations, 11 reckless driving citations, 21 DUI arrest citations and 358 other traffic citations. There was 13 traffic safety check points conducted during the Enforcement Mobilization.

There were 7 felony arrests, 29 fugitives apprehended and there were no stolen vehicle recovered.

Kentucky State Police Post 12 provides police coverage for Anderson, Fayette, Franklin, Scott, Shelby, Spencer and Woodford counties.
