Shooting Investigation in Shelby County

(Frankfort, Ky.) -- At 1951 hours the Shelby County Sheriff's Office requested assistance from KSP Post 12 at 7609 Hempridge Road regarding a call of shots being fired at a deputy who was attempting to serve a warrant. Officers from Post 12 and KSP Special Ops, and Shelby County Sheriff's Office conducted a search for the shooter, but were unable to locate him. The suspect is still at large, and the investigation is ongoing by the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. Any additional questions should be addressed to the Shelby County Sheriff's Office 502-633-2323.
