Fatal Collision on I-64 in Shelby County

(Frankfort, KY) - Patricia Browning was driving a black 1998 Chevy was westbound on I-64 when the driver struck a guard rail on the westbound side of I-64. The vehicle continued westbound and next struck Danvel E. Blythe who was driving a white 1998 Chevy pickup in the rear end. The vehicle traveled though the grassy median into the eastbound lanes of I-64. Andry Avramenko who was driving a tractor and trailer was eastbound on I-64 when the vehicle struck the tractor and trailer head-on. The vehicles collided and caught fire. Patricia Browning was pronounced deceased at the scene by the Shelby County Coroner's Office. Official identification pending on the driver of Unit #1 the black 1998 chevy. The Fatal collision is under investigation by the Kentucky State Police Post 12 Frankfort.
