Theft Investigation and Arrests

(London, Ky.) -- The Kentucky State Police Vehicle Investigations Section began an investigation, in February 2009, into the theft of vehicles from Pulaski and Lincoln Counties.
On August 13, 2009 the investigation led to the arrest, in Laurel County, of:
Christopher Nevels, 37, of Whitley City, charged with Fraudulent Insurance Acts over $300.00.
Sandra Nevels, 39, of Whitley City, charged with Fraudulent Insurance Acts over $300.00
Clayton Terrell, 43, of Burnside, charged with Fraudulent Insurance Acts over $300.00
On December 02, 2009 the investigation led to the arrest, in Pulaski County, of:
Burl Killen, 47, of Burnside, charged with two (2) counts of Trafficking in Stolen Vehicles, one (1) count of Obscuring the Identity of a Machine and seven (7) counts of Receiving Stolen Property.
During the course of the investigation KSP Detective Bill Riley recovered a pickup truck, a trailer and several ATV / Utility Vehicle's. The owners of the stolen items have been identified and contacted with the exception of Joshua B. Woods of London.
Detective Riley requests that anyone with contact info for Mr. Joshua B. Woods to contact him at the KSP Post 11 at 606-878-6622.
Detective Riley is continuing the investigation and was assisted by officers from the Kentucky State Police.
