Drug Arrest in Laurel County

(London, KY) - A drug interdiction stop on southbound Interstate 75 in Laurel County resulted in the discovery and seizure of 484 pills of various types. Michael A. Cunningham, Age 33, of Ocala, Florida, was arrested and charged with one count each for Trafficking in Controlled Substances 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Degrees. Cunningham was lodged in the Laurel County Detention Center. The investigation is continuing by Detective David Lassiter, KSP Post 11, London.
