Fugitive Arrest in Pulaski County

(London, KY) - On Thursday, February 05, 2009 Kentucky State Police Senior Trooper Anthony Phillips and KSP Detective Doug Boyd received information that a fugitive from another state might be residing in the Pulaski County area.

Trooper Phillips and Detective Boyd began an investigation which led to the arrest of Danny G. Butt, 38, of Science Hill, KY.

Mr. Butt was wanted on the charge of Trafficking in Illegal Drugs in Sequoyah County, Oklahoma with a warrant of arrest being issued on October 28, 2005.

Mr. Butt was arrested at a residence on Wayne Street in Science Hill, where he had been residing, and was lodged in the Pulaski County Detention Center on the charge of Fugitive from Another State.

Trooper Phillips is the arresting officer and was assisted by Detective Boyd.
