Stolen Vehicle Investigation in Whitley County

(London, KY) - On Thursday, December 18, 2008, Kentucky State Police Auto Theft Detective Bill Riley recovered the drivers cab unit from a stolen 2006 red Peterbilt tractor-trailer on Corn Creek / Steele Hollow Road in Whitley County.

During the course of the investigation Detective Riley recovered the stolen flatbed trailer, that same day, at a truck stop off of exit 29 of I-75 in Laurel County.

Detective Riley was not able to locate the stolen engine, transmission, frame, axles, tires or wheels.

The tractor-trailer was stolen on December 08, 2008 from G & G Trucking of Knoxville, TN.
