(Harlan, Ky.) -- On June 15, 2009 at 6:05 p.m., Kentucky State Police Post 10 Harlan responded to a call of an attempted kidnapping of a nine year old girl on Evergreen Road in the community of Flat Lick, KY. The victim was walking home from a friend's house when an unknown male subject pulled along side of the victim and tried to force her into the vehicle. The van also has double opening side doors (not the sliding door) and the paint is pealing off of the van. The unknown male subject is approximately 5'9" wearing a dark green t-shirt, blue jeans, and brown work boots and was wearing a ski mask during the attempted abduction.
