Armed Robbery Investigation in Martin County

(Pikeville, KY) - At 8:28 p.m. on 12/13/08 Post 9 was notified of alarm activation for Warfield Fast Lane and Discount Tobacco. Martin County Sheriff Department arrived on scene and advised that an armed robbery had taken place. The male subject brandished a firearm, believed to have been a revolver. The male suspect was wearing a black mask, red hoodie with a black eagle, and blue sweat pants. The male suspect and an unknown female suspect fled on foot taking an undetermined amount of cash. This investigation is under investigation by KSP Trooper Brad Austin U/461.
