Arrest Made in Armed Robbery Investigation in Magoffin County

(Pikeville, KY) - There has been arrested made in reference to the armed robbery that happened on 11/18/2008 on Ky Route 40 in Magoffin County. Upon investigation it was discovered that the perpetrator was 34 year old David Bowen of Isonville in Elliot County.

Trooper Josh Preece obtained warrants in Magoffin County and they were served in Elliot County. David Bowen was arrested without incident and is being lodged in the Carter County Detention Center.

(Pikeville, KY) - On 11/18/2008 Two male subjects armed with a knife entered BJ's Liquor Store on KY Route 40 at Falcon in Magoffin County. They demanded money from the clerk but were unsuccessful in leaving with the money. The subjects left in an unknown vehicle unknown direction of travel.
