Fatal ATV Collision on KY Route 195 in Pike County

(Pikeville, KY) - Billy L. Jones was operating a 1998 Honda ATV North on Ky Route 195 Marrowbone Creek Rd, when his ATV dropped off an embankment, ejecting him from the ATV. Mr. Jones was airlifted by Wings Air Rescue to Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, TN. Mr. Jones later died as a result of his injuries. Mr. Jones was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Justin Cornett.
