Drug Arrest in Johnson County

(Pikeville, KY) - Hoy Curtis Witten (35) of Sitka, KY. was arrested and charged with one count of Distribution of Cocaine, and two counts of Distribution of Methadone. Mr. Witten was the focus of an investigation by Kentucky State Police Post 09 and D.E.S.I. Officers, The Federal Bureau of Investigations, along with H.I.D.T.A. Officers. The investigation began late in the year of 2005 and continued until July 29, 2008. The charges came after a Federal Court Indictment was handed down by a Federal Grand Jury this month. Mr. Witten was arraigned in Federal Court today in Pikeville, Ky.
