Fatal Collision on Elkhorn Creek Road in Pike County
Date of News Release: 06/18/2008
(Pikeville, KY)- Reed Potter age 83, was traveling on Elkhorn Creek Road (KY Rt 197) when he ran off the roadway, striking a tree. Mr. Potter was transported to Pikeville Medical Center by Elkhorn City Ambulance Service, where he was pronounced dead. The accident is still under investigation by Trooper Darrell Arnett and Accident Reconstructionist Detective Eddie Crum.
