>One Killed & 2 Injured in Collision on KY 122 in Pike County

(Pikeville, KY)- Billy E. Johnson Sr, was operating a 1994 Dodge Dakota pickup westbound on KY 122 at Robinson Creek attempting to make a left turn into the Robinson Creek Post Office when he crossed the center line into the path of unit two which was an eastbound 1999 Gray Chevy pickup driven by Scott Mullins.

Mr. Mullins was transported to Pikeville Medical Center for treatment of injuries. The passenger of the vehicle driven by Mr. Mullins was airlifted from the scene. Billy E. Johnson Sr was transported to Pikeville Medical Center and later pronounced dead by Dr. Edgar Rhodes. The coroner declined an autopsy. The accident is still under investigation by Trooper Johnny Slone.
