Fatal Accident on KY Route 80 in Floyd County
Date of News Release: 03/02/2008
(Pikeville, KY) - At 19:23 hours, Post 9 received a call of a motor vehicle accident on KY Route 80 in the Martin area of Floyd County. Frank M. Baldridge was traveling west bound on KY Route 80 in a 2001 white Dodge Pickup, when a rock landed on the cab of his truck. Floyd County Deputy Coroner Greg Nelson Pronounced Mr. Baldridge dead at the scene. The accident is still under investigation by Trooper B.J. Caudill U/955.
