Lincoln County Murder Suspect Arrested

An image of Neccolus Mundy, click here to download the wanted poster(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7, Richmond, has arrested a fifth suspect in connection with February 2002 Lincoln County murders of Bo Upton and Ryan Shangraw. Neccolus Mundy age 26, of Richmond was taken into custody by KSP troopers at a residence in Richmond. Kentucky State Police Troopers acting on information developed through several days of intensified surveillance were able to pinpoint Mundy's location to an apartment on Mt. Rushmore Street in Richmond. KSP troopers entered the residence at 4:04 a.m. and arrested Mundy without incident. This arrest occurred through the cooperative efforts between the Kentucky State Police, the Richmond Police Department and the United States Marshalls Service. Mundy was lodged in the Madison County Detention Center. The investigation by Detective Monte Owens is ongoing.

(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7, Richmond, is seeking the public's assistance in locating Neccolus Mundy, age 26 of Richmond. Mundy is wanted in connection with the February 2002 Lincoln County murders of Ryan Shangraw and Bo Upton. Mundy is a black male, 6ft. in height and weighs 195 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair worn in dreadlocks. Mundy also has numerous tattoos on his neck. The public is asked to contact the Kentucky State Police at (859) 623-2404 or 1-800-222-5555 (in the state of Kentucky only, does not work out of state) if they know his whereabouts. He should not be approached by non-law enforcement personnel. A reward is being offered for information that leads to his arrest.
