Arson Investigation and Arrest in Lincoln County

(Richmond, KY) - Lincoln County Fire Department responded to structure fire at 7205 KY 300 and upon arrival the structure was fully engulfed. The Lincoln County Fire Department contacted KSP Post 7, Richmond and requested to have Arson Investigator Alford, Unit 1807 respond. The Lincoln County Fire Department advised that the fire was of unknown origin. Investigator Alford responded to the scene and conducted several interviews with witnesses and the victim. The evidence and the interviews led to the arrest of Christopher Herring, age 29 of Junction City, KY for Arson 2nd. Mr. Herring has been lodged in the Boyle County Detention Center. The investigation is ongoing by Arson Investigator Pat Alford, Unit 1807 with the Kentucky State Police.
