Home Invasion Burglary/Robbery on Grubbs Road in Garrard County

(Richmond, KY) - On 03/26/2008 at 10:20 p.m., the Kentucky State Police Post 7, Richmond, responded to a home invasion burglary/robbery on Grubbs Road in Garrard County. At approximately 9:30 p.m., two male subjects wearing masks forced their way into the residence of Herbert and Margaret Grubbs. Once inside the armed men demanded money, guns and jewelry. The victims cooperated with the men and once the items were obtained they took the victim's 2002 Ford Taurus. The stolen vehicle was later recovered in the area. No arrests have been made in this case and it currently remains under investigation by Detective Bill Collins.
