Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond Welcomes New Troopers

(Richmond, KY) - The Kentucky State Police Post 7 Richmond welcomes two recent graduates of the Kentucky State Police Academy at Frankfort. Trooper Phillip Powell and Trooper Donnie Foley graduated from KSP Cadet Class #86 on February 25th, 2008.

Trooper Phillip Powell, age 30, is a native of Berea and attended Berea College and Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to joining the KSP, he was an officer with the Richmond Police Department.

Trooper Donnie Foley, age 32, is a native of Corbin and attended Eastern Kentucky University. Foley is a veteran of the United States Army and a member of the Army National Guard. He attended Eastern Kentucky University. Prior to joining the KSP, he was an officer with the Chesterfield Virginia Police Department.
