Death Investigation on I-75

Date of News Release: 06/09/2008

(Dry Ridge, KY) - At approximately 1147 hours, Kentucky State Police responded to a Motorist Assist call at the 153 southbound mile marker on Interstate 75. At approximately 1150 hours, Trooper Doug Carter arrived and noticed a Black Mercedes vehicle pulled off the right shoulder of the interstate with the driver as the only occupant. Trooper Carter noticed that the subject was deceased upon his arrival.

The Grant County Coroner, Marylee Willoby was on scene and pronounced him dead at 1215 hours. The subject will be transported to the State Medical Examiner's office at St. Luke East in Fort Thomas, KY for an autopsy.

The case is being investigated by Kentucky State Police Trooper Scott Lengle. There is no further information released at this time pending notification of family members.
