Robertson County Arrest in Child Pornography

(Dry Ridge, KY) - On April 25^th, Detectives with Kentucky State Police Post 6 and the Kentucky State Police Electronic Crime Section along with the Robertson County Sheriff's executed a search warrant at 2555 Pea Ridge Road, just outside of Germantown, KY. Detectives seized numerous computers and electronic media containing suspected child pornography. The owner of the residence, Shirley R. Smith, was arrested and charged with Distribution of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor 1^st offense and Possession of Matter Portraying Sexual Performance by a Minor. Mr. Smith was lodged at the Mason County Detention Center. This incident remains under investigation by Detective Chris Jaskowiak and Detective William Lindon.
