Body Found In Pendleton County Landfill

(Dry Ridge, KY) - On April 3, 2008 at approximately 2:40 pm Troopers from the Kentucky State Police Post 6 in Dry Ridge along with Deputies from the Pendleton County Sheriff's Office responded to the Rumpke land fill to investigate a body being found. Employees from Rumpke Waste Disposal initially found the remains of the deceased, John F. Biddle (48) of Melbourne, KY, in the land fill. Mr. Biddle was pronounced dead by Pendleton County Coroner John Peoples at the scene. The deceased was transported to the Northern Kentucky Medical Examiners Office for an Autopsy. The cause of death is not being released at this time; however no criminal behavior is suspected. The case remains open and under investigation by Kentucky State Police Detective Chris Jaskowiak along with members of the Pendleton County Sheriff's office and Campbell County Police Department.
