Update to Rape Investigation in Warren County

(Bowling Green, KY) - After airing on WBKO 13 news several tips began to come in leading Detective Scott Skaggs to Steven Basham Age 30 of Bowling Green who was arrested tonight and lodged in the Warren County Jail for Rape 1st.

(Bowling Green, KY) - The victim was picked up in the city limits of Bowling Green by an unknown male subject operating a maroon Dodge Ram Pickup Truck, possibly a late 90's model with a silver strip at the bottom. The subject was a white male in his mid to late twenties, with facial hair, wearing a white ball cap backwards. The male subject drove the victim to the Richardsville Area and beat and raped her. The victim was then able to escape, and ran through a wooded area where she eventually was able to locate a house and call for help.
