Injury Motorcycle Collision on KY 622 in Simpson County

Date of News Release: 10/03/2008

(Bowling Green, KY) - Joe Scoggins was traveling westbound on KY 622 behind Gabriel Guerrero-Parada. As Joe Scoggins crested the top of a hill with limited sight distance, the front wheel of his motorcycle collided with the right rear bumper of Gabriel Guerrero-Parada's vehicle. Joe Scoggins then traveled off of the left side of the road and the Joe Scoggins was thrown from his motorcycle. Joe Scoggins was found lying in a ditch line by a passing motorist. Gabriel Guerrero-Parada did not stop and continued traveling west on KY 622. The operator of Gabriel Guerrero-Parada was later located in Scottsville. Gabriel Guerrero-Parada was charged with the Leaving the Scene of an Accident, Operating on a Suspended License, No Insurance. Gabriel Guerrero-Parada was lodged into the Simpson County Jail.
