Fatal Collision on US31E in Hart County

(Bowling Green) - Christopher Jewell was southbound on US31E when he failed to negotiate a sharp left hand curve. Mr. Jewell's vehicle left the right side of the roadway striking an embankment and a tree, and then overturned. Mr. Jewell was partially ejected out of the driver's side window and trapped underneath the truck. Mr. Jewell was pronounced deceased by Hart County Coroner's Office at the scene. Alcohol is believed to be a factor.
