Sex Abuse Investigation Arrest in Logan County

(Bowling Green, KY) - Merlin Overholt age 43, was arrested on an indictment warrant issued by Logan County Grand Jury. Mr. Overholt was charged with 149 counts of various sexual charges against children to include Sexual Abuse 1st Degree-Victim Less Than 12, Sodomy 1st Degree-Victim Less Than 12, Unlawful Transaction With A Minor 1st Degree-Less Than 16-Illegal Sex Act. Mr. Overholt is currently lodged in the Logan County Detention Center and awaiting arraignment on April 10, 2008 on a $5,000,000 cash bond.
